BioI've never been able to properly fill out one of these "about me" sections on like, anything. Call it shyness if you will; I think it's just plain stupidity coz I sure as hell don't have a problem talking about myself in any other kind of format. So, let's give this a go, shall we?
First off, I love my family. I suppose that's a given in most cases, but not in all of them, so it should be squared away that I have just about the most normal and healthy immediate family that I can imagine. It's right then that most of my extended family is kind of batshit insane, but that's okay because we're at least alright at home. So, no drama stories about Mom, Dad, sister, or the two brothers, unless I just feel like bitching, aha.
Secondly, I love my friends. Blah blah, standard answers, okay, but really! They're a little drama prone from time to time, but nothing crazy or lawbreaking or anything, and I love em to bits~ And I'm proud of the fact that we have an awesome and pretty sizeable group of nerds who know how to have fun~
Okay, now my strongest passion is for television, and mostly for sci-fi television, which I've developed an interest in since I started watching Doctor Who two years ago, and I think you can thank RTD and his passion for the medium for that. I was raised on movies, but nowadays you'll find that most of the fandoms I'll get into are TV based.
I used to be into anime and manga, mostly in middle school and early high school, but I don't start new series very often any more (except for porn, omg, I'm always looking for new porn). I still keep up with what I used to read, though! So yes, I'm still reading Naruto ffffff don't judge me. And I still attend cons with my buddies, and we cosplay together, which is the funnest part about that kind of fandom to me (what cosplay is fun you blasphemer ahaha).
Because of cosplay, I like to sew~ This is probably my only legitimate hobby hobby ahaha. Mostly I make dumb little plushies, but it's my dream to one day be able to run my own toy shop. Fffffff, Mr. Magorium inspires me!
I like to absorb things from my friends though because sharing is caring~ So a lot of things I love, if you ask me about them, the first thing I'll say is, "Oh, my friend loves that!" Because to me, the strongest feeling evoked by these fandoms is a reminder of the bond between my friends and I. But I really do love these things! I'm just more excited by the fact that someone I love loves them more. If that makes any sense, er.
There are a lot of things I like, because I like liking things, but Doctor Who will always be my number 1. <3 <3 <3 I'll accept that other people may not like it, and I'll accept that different things are more important to people than this show, but I will never pretend to understand it.
When I first started getting into fandom, back in middle school, I was a het person, and mostly a Mary Sue het person at that, and I thought homosexuality was disturbing, but at that point I'd barely even opened myself to the idea of sexuality in any form, so. Then fishy year, I ended up becoming good friends with a boy who ended up being gay, so the disturbingness of that went away, and then I turned into a full on slasher ffffffff it's all your fault, Alex. But it was only male on male! Because girl on girl is nasty even if I get off on it ffffff oh what. And now I'm pretty much like, whatever I don't care okay I just want to read my porn. So, bisexual here, but I'm such a clam who's too afraid of commitment that it'll probably never make a difference any way or the other :P
Music may not be something I'm crazy about, but my family is crazy about it, so it's not something I know how to live without. I'm open to pretty much anything! So right now, the genres I enjoy are rock, folk rock, pop, hip hop, r & b, jrock, jpop, kpop, jazz, avant garde jazz, musical theatre, and classical.
It is my (not always) practiced philosophy to learn to be open-minded in everything, so that I can learn how to love everything and appreciate the beauty of all the world.
